About Us

Welcome again to Webhound,

Without rambling on I would like to give you a quick insight into how and why Webhound came about. My situation may be a little different from most but the basis of the situation is not uncommon.

In the year 2000 I lost my sight and as a result I lost my source of income. Without having touched a computer prior to losing my sight I was taught by my wife to touch type and then went on to learn the basics of applying speech software to various computer programs. Through perseverance and patience I have attained an above average skill level in the use of computers and the world wide web. My passion for communication technology arose originally out of a need to keep my mind occupied but over time I came up with the idea for Webhound and once I had compiled enough experience and information I thought I should bring it to life.

The main point I want to get across is my situation is not that different to thousands of others in the world. You may not be blind but you could be thrown off kilter by retirement, disability, recent job loss, a lack of confidence in using a computer or the world wide web or even just a bad run of outs. They can all be as life changing as going blind.

What can be mind boggling is that it's taken for granted that people move as quick as technology does. A lot of the community has been forgotten in the quest for making things quicker, smaller, cheaper etc. That's why I have insisted that Webhound be easy to navigate, have no tricky programming or software downloads and provides a non stressful environment to get your opinion heard and earn some money doing it. I dare say you will actually find it enjoyable! Webhound is also a great chance for stay-at-home parents to earn a supplementary income when time permits. That is the beauty of the program, you can make your own hours.

When I created Webhound I wanted to help not only people that have lost their sight but also the disabled, the disadvantaged, the older generations and other computer novices. People from any and all walks of life have been taken into consideration on this website.

The whole website has been developed with the speech software JAWS in mind. Any blind users that use JAWS software (and most other screen readers for that matter) will find Webhound a breeze. The content and individual directory entries have been found, reviewed, rated and commented on by myself.

Another great feature of Webhound apart from the Survey Directory is a second directory of Handy and Shopping Links. This directory is also personalised and has over 700 sites with great online services, freebies and offers that can make life easier.

All the websites on the Webhound survey directory link are free to join and often have sign up bonuses. The only cost is a one-off, value-for-money membership payment to gain access to the Webhound directories and Tip Links.

Webhound is not a survey or market research company. We simply make it easier for you by providing you with easy, relevant access to our directories that list hundreds of the best paid survey companies and opportunities. Webhound has done all the hard work for you. We research all the potential earning opportunities and construct our directories so you only have one place to visit to take advantage of paid surveys and other at-home money making programs.

So if you are ready to have a go and start taking advantage of all the opportunities that await just click here to register and enjoy the Webhound experience.

Thank you for taking the time to check out Webhound.

Happy hunting
