Question - What makes Webhound different to any of the other
websites that provide survey directories?
Answer - Firstly webhound has made the site as simple as possible.
No nasty software surprises or hidden agendas.
Secondly, unlike other database providers Webhound provides each
of its members with a personalised list of sites to check out. You
don't have to sort through hundreds of listings to find out if your
location or age makes you eligible for registration. When you sign
up with Webhound and fill out a small registration form, the database
will only provide you with websites that are age and location appropriate.
Finally members of Webhound are provided with links that provide
tips and ways of managing the survey sites you register with. These
tips will save you time and let you achieve the best possible results.

Question - Why do I get paid for giving my opinion and filling
out surveys?
Answer - Businesses all over the world spend billions of dollars
on advertising and to make it more cost effective they use a portion
of their advertising budget to pay data collection companies that
are listed on the Webhound directory to find out what people think
of a particular product, issue, service or event. Then they can
be more direct in their means of advertising. Data collection companies
need to access a cross-section of the public to provide their clients
with a complete view. That's where you come in.

Question - What if I get busy and don't have a lot of time to
complete the surveys?
Answer - Don't worry. You make your own hours. Do whatever you
can in what time you have. Even pick and choose the surveys you
want to complete. Most surveys when they are emailed to you have
a cut off date that usually allows a couple of weeks to complete
it. If you miss a cut off date, don't worry. Another survey won't
be far away!

Question - What about the personal information I provide, is
it secure?
Answer - The personal information you submit to these companies
is used to determine your eligibility for prospective projects and
to collect the answers you provide with other evaluators. You, the
evaluator, are the heart and soul of these market research companies.
Therefore your personal information should be kept very secure and
confidential. Make sure you review each company's privacy policy
before you sign up.

Question - What about SPAM?
Answer - It is in the interest of the companies that you sign up
with to keep there panel members happy. Therefore the survey provider's
priority should be to keep your inbox clear of SPAM so you will,
in turn, be happy to complete their surveys and offers. Without
you they don't have a business. In over 2 years of completing surveys
I have had no SPAM and only received offers I signed up for.
Every user is responsible for protecting their system. We
recommend the following software - AVG
Anti-Virus Free and AVG
Anti-Spyware Free. And also recommend that you read the following
article, Spam
Prevention for Users if you have concerns about SPAM.

Question - How many surveys can I complete in 1 day?
Answer - As many as you qualify for. Complete as many as your time
permits. The more personal information/demographic questions you
fill out within each registration form, the better the chance of
qualifying. Therefore the more survey sites you sign up with, the
better your chance of filling your inbox with surveys.

Question - Why do companies want to pay me for reading emails?
Answer - Simple, it's like a television ad. The company wants you
to find out about their product and what better way to do it than
pitch to a direct audience that has shown interest in particular
areas. They get this information through your personal information/demographic
data and send you relevant emails and pay you to read them.

Question - Who can join Webhound?
Answer - Almost anybody anywhere can join Webhound. Minimum age
is 13 and minors between the ages of 13 and 18 need a parent's or
legal guardian's permission to join. There are survey opportunities
for everybody all around the world.

Question - How do I get paid?
Answer - There is a variety of methods of payment. Some companies
pay with cheque, others pay directly and instantly into a Paypal
account, also a points system is used on some sites where you accumulate
points for completing surveys and reading emails and when your points
reach a certain level you can go to a catalogue on their website
and choose electrical goods, appliances, etc You can even have the
points converted into a cheque. The final method is a weekly, monthly
or quarterly prize draw/sweepstakes with tens of thousands of dollars
up for grabs.

Question - Do I have to open a Paypal account?
Answer - No you don't have to have a Paypal account. You can receive
all your earnings via cheque if you choose (unless you sign up for
sites that stipulate payment via Paypal only). In saying that, there
are a few very good reasons to open a Paypal account. Firstly, paying
your one-off registration fee for Webhound by opening an account
and using Paypal means you can be starting your survey registrations
within minutes. Paypal is a direct method of payment and provides
you with an instant membership. Secondly, some of the survey sites
pay you via Paypal and require you to have an account to receive
payment for survey completions. Finally Paypal has the facilities
to convert currency. So whatever country you receive a survey from,
you can have the payment converted instantly without having to pay
huge fees at your bank.

Question - How soon after I sign up will I start receiving surveys?
Answer - Some members start receiving surveys within a few hours,
but on the average the wait is usually at least a few days. It really
depends on your profile and which companies you choose to register
with. Keep in mind that some market research companies only send
out 1 or 2 surveys a month. With these companies it will take at
least a few weeks before you are recorded in their databases and
start receiving surveys from them. To give you an example, if you
only register with 8 websites and they all only send out 1 survey
every 6 to 8 weeks it is likely to take at least a few weeks before
you receive any surveys.
It is critical to register with as many websites as you can as
you will NOT make a lot of money from any one company.

Question - How do I know Webhound is not a scam?
Answer - Webhound holds an Australian Business Number (ABN). Everything
that goes on within Webhound can be tracked. Also Webhound is registered
with Paypal, who are the biggest business of their type in the world
and are stringent in their acceptance of businesses conducting transactions
through their service.
Webhound has been designed to help you, the general public, not
to rip you off. The Webhound website has been designed and is being
professionally hosted by Aussiecom with the intent of keeping the
website and you frequently updated to provide the best service possible.
Webhound is not a backyard operator with an "I'll get around to
it" attitude. I have researched data for this site for over 1000
hours to provide you with as much opportunity to make it work for
you and your bank account!

Question - How many websites are within the Webhound directories?
Answer - Presently there are over 1000 websites to keep you on the
go. Remember Webhound is age restricted so not all the sites will
be available to everyone. It also depends on your location. The
links provided take you directly to the sites applicable to you.
Webhound is consistently on the lookout for new survey providers
and then researching them to keep our members up to date with email
notification of new offers. So be assured the Webhound directory
numbers will grow!

Question - How do I know my email and password are secure?
Answer - Webhound has put in place programming that restricts the
overuse of an individual membership. To explain further, no single
membership email and password combination can be open on more than
one system. This restricts the misuse of personal details either
for causing damage to Webhound and its members or selling user details
for personal profit.

Question - What access do trial members have to the Webhound
member links?

( anything up to 10 links ). A trial member will also receive full
access to the Webhound member email with updates, shopping site
reviews, competition and exclusive survey opportunities.

Question - How long can I be a trial member with Webhound?
Answer - There is no time restriction on a trial membership with

questions
Question - I'm not receiving my exclusive Webhound member update
emails.
Answer - Webhound currently uses Internet Mail Manager (www.internetmailmanager.com)
to send out member update emails. Make sure that you have the email
address webhound@303media.net in your list of accepted email
address's and make sure it is not getting sent directly to your
junk mail box. This is particularly relevant to hotmail, yahoo AOL
and other web based email providers. Also please check that the
email address you used to log in with is current and valid as this
is the address that Webhounds programming uses. Other than that
use the Contact Us form and send a message
to us at Webhound and we can look into it further.
